How does red film work for ants?

User tip: We advise covering a significant part of the nest with the red film for the ants' peace, but possibly leaving a small part uncovered. Because the film darkens strongly, observation becomes slightly more difficult — which is very good for the ants — but by leaving a small piece free, you always maintain a quick view of the activity!
