Breeding Fairy Shrimps is a marvelous process. Because the eggs are so small and naturally survive periods of drought, they come to life as soon as they are in the right water conditions. The capsule contains a large number of eggs (approx. 5000 pcs). Not all eggs will hatch simultaneously; nature selects the strongest creatures that grow into adult shrimp.

Brief Breeding Guide:

• The Habitat: Use a small container about 10 cm high with about half a liter of still spring water.
• Temperature: Bring the water to a temperature of approximately 25 °C (for example, with the help of a heat lamp on the container).
• Adding: Add the desired amount of eggs to the warm water. The first creatures will 'spontaneously' hatch within a few days!
• Feeding: After a few days, you can carefully feed the young shrimp finely ground Triops food.
