Caring for an ant colony begins with proper nutrition. A balanced diet is essential: adult worker ants need sugars for their daily energy, while the queen ant and growing larvae cannot do without proteins. With this **Ant Food Set**, you get the perfect combination of building blocks and fuel all at once. Suitable for almost all ant species!

Contents of this complete food set:

• Non-flying Fruit Flies (20-50 pieces): The ideal protein source. Necessary for the queen to lay eggs and for the larvae to grow into healthy worker ants. Because they cannot fly, they are extremely easy to feed.
• Ready-to-use Sugar Water (2 ml in tube + separate cotton ball): Directly usable carbohydrates for the active worker ants. Safe and mess-free to offer on the included cotton ball.
• Honeydew Surrogate (2 ml in tube + separate cotton ball): Our own recipe, packed with natural sugars, minerals, and amino acids. Extensively tested by Mierenboerderij and used for our own breeding!
• Full-color instructions for feeding your ants: You will receive a small full-color flyer with information about the care.

Easy to use & long-lasting freshness

Both the sugar water and the honeydew are supplied in convenient test tubes including a separate dosing cotton ball. This allows you to easily apply a drop to a feeding dish without the ants being able to drown.

Storage advice: Store the honeydew and, if necessary, a portion of the fruit flies in the freezer to optimally preserve nutritional values and freshness for several months.
